Orange Soap!

We've been experimenting with ingredients for our newest line of soap made with organic ingredients. We've titled this line The Naturals. One of the ingredients we're using, in its more natural form, is a deep orange. It really colors the soap. So we were trying to determine whether or not to keep this wonderful ingredient in our soap. We welcome all opinions!

Thanks, Becky! I like the look too, but it's a MINT soap! :)

Ah, an orange mint soap? Maybe add an Orange note to it and call it "Orange Mint?" The color is quite nice and delightfully bright.

I do like the idea of orange blends, but not for the entire organic line. I will have to fiddle with it. Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate it!

Ooooo, Steph! I love the pretty orange color...I really do! The thing is, orange can be blended in with many different scents, and you could make a line designated your "oranges". When I saw it, all that came to my mind was "Sunkissed"!
Heck, why not even make them in different scents and call them "solar bars"?

I really don't think folks would have a problem with the color if you tell them the soaps are organic and you are trying to keep them as "pure and natural" as possible. Most people, it seems, are pretty flexible.

The more I look at the soaps, the more I realize it looks pretty cool. I will stick with it. It's a specialty line of soap, so I will put something on the site about it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
