The Last Beach Days
Here are a couple of pictures of the beach the day before we left. It got kind of stormy and the water got really rough. There was an emergency vehicle that ran down the beach, passed us. I hear they closed the beach for a couple of days because of the rough water. Not a surprise... it was really rough for inexperienced swimmers.
And now back to reality... Time to prepare for the coming school year. I have books to read, websites to view... The beach was nice... we'll probably go again next summer!

Aha! Do you not think it strange that the bad weather moved in when you were getting ready to leave? hehehe
Just think of all thhe memories you have from this vacation....lucky you!!!!
We had a great time at the beach. I think my SIL is reserving the house for the same week next year! It's a HUGE house and well maintained... and you just walk down the steps and there you are at the beach!
I'm glad the bad weather waited until it was time to leave. We were prepared to do stuff with the kids if we were stuck inside though. The kids brought their Wii's so we had one for adults and one for kids... if needed :)
We didn't get to the soap or the candles, we were too busy laying out and bobbing up and down in the waves!
